Exterior design highlights include available
18-inch dark gray aluminum-alloy wheels with a machined finish, High-Intensity
Discharge headlights, and steering responsive fog lights to add even more
safety. New for this year is a body color roof-mounted antenna. Interior
highlights include an available 10-way power adjustable driver's seat with
power adjustable lumbar support, heated front seats and the incredibly handy
one-touch 60/40-split flat-folding rear seatbacks.

Safety
On the tech side, the 2016 Subaru Forester
is available with two SUBARU STARLINK color touchscreens, a 6.2-inch and
7-inch. This infotainment system allows you to listen to HD Radio, has
smartphone integration, a USB port/iPod control, Bluetooth connectivity, and
hands-free phone connectivity. Active safety features include Subaru's
incredible Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system, Vehicle Dynamics Control, Brake
Assist, and the available EyeSight driver assist technology. Passive features
include Subaru's advanced frontal airbag system, seat-mounted front side-impact
airbags, and a driver's knee
airbag.

Subaru Forester Performance
Two engines are available on the 2016 Subaru
Forester. First is a 2.5-liter DOHC engine with 170 horsepower and 174 pound feet
of torque, good for up to 23 miles per gallon highway and 24 city. Second is a
2.0-liter DOHC turbocharged engine with an astounding 250 horsepower and 258
pound feet of torque, achieving up to 28 miles per gallon highway and 23 city.
Two transmissions are available, a fully synchronized 6-speed manual and a
Lineartronic CVT. Also available is X-MODE, Subaru's traction assist system
with Hill Descent Control.
